Submitting a proposal for a symposium for 2025
Deadline: 27/1/25 at 9 p.m.
Please don't even think that you might have a speaker giving a talk over Zoom or similar
Bressanone, is a strictly "in person" event.
Those who are interested in proposing a symposium for the EWCN meeting should send a proposal to the local organizers using the form linked here.
A proposal should indicate the title of the symposium (maximum 4 participants, organizer and discussant included), its motivation and description, the name of the organizer and a list of three speakers (not from the same institution) who have already agreed to participate.
Please notice: for the sake of discussions and interactions, we expect speakers and discussants to attend as long as possible. The info provided with the proposal will permit to build the webpages for next year
(see for example).
To maximize the chances of acceptance of your proposal please have a look to the Previous Symposia page and make sure your topic has not been already covered in recent occasions.
When drafting your proposal, please consider, if possible, a gender balance among speakers and discussants.
We also expect speakers and discussants to encourage their collaborators to attend to the symposium.
For all speakers and discussants a "bring the scientific family" formula will apply whereby up to two of their affiliated collaborators will be admitted for half the registration fee. Each actor of a given symposium is requested to bring at least one research fellow.
